  • Prototypes for Cyborgs - A Space Opera - Donegal Youth Orchestra Collaboration.

We have a new exciting collaboration starting today with the internationally renowned Irish Artist @markoafterdarko and the sound artist @tk_lemonade_ .

Members of the Donegal Youth Orchestra are invited to attend the first rehearsal meeting today, Sunday 13th April from 12pm to 2pm in the RCC Art Gallery.
  • Exhibition Launch | 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒕𝒚𝒑𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒚𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒔 – 𝑨 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂 | Tomorrow, Saturday 12 April.

Lead artist Mark Cullen is joined by sound artist Tadhg Kinsella, digital modeller Tadhg Ó Cuirrín, interactive designer Paul Green, and lighting designer Mick Murray - under the curatorship of Valeria Ceregini - build a cybernetic opera where identity, embodiment, and artistic practice are reimagined through speculative technologies and sonic experimentation.

At 6pm, a live 40–50 minute performance will activate the works, blurring the boundaries between audience and artwork, presence and projection, ritual and rebellion.

There will be a closing performance on 14 June in collaboration with Mark Cullen, Tadgh Kinsella and members of the Donegal Youth Orchestra.

Through sculptural intervention, speculative fiction, and sonic experimentation, Prototypes for Cyborgs – A Space Opera asks: what futures do we build when the lines between human, machine, and myth dissolve? And who—or what—will inherit the stars?

Spanning physical and virtual realms, the exhibition features seven sculptures, three video displays, a VR experience, and an immersive sound system.
