Errigal Groove Orchestra / Saxtet enrolment form

If you’d like the chance to play some cool jazz – and you don’t have to be Miles Davis – then take your sax, bass, drums, guitar, flute or whatever along to the Errigal Groove Orchestra. It’s a fun outfit under the direction of Fahan-based sax player and DMEP tutor Sean McCarron. Regular dates include Culture Night in the Regional Cultural Centre in Letterkenny (Fri 22nd Sept 2017) and the City of Derry Jazz Festival late April/early May.

If you’re a sax player, Saxtet is another option. This is an ensemble for sax players, again with Sean directing. Saxtet feature at EGO gigs (as they’re members) but also on their own, such as at the DMEP Glenveagh Castle concert in May.
