Donegal Junior Strings at the Glebe
Have just been helping with a little blurb for what’s become an annual lunchtime concert for the Donegal Junior String Orchestra at the Glebe Gallery Courtyard. This year it’s on Saturday 3rd October. The concert is part of the Wainfest festival throughout Donegal, and also part of the 5th Donegal Chamber Music Festival.
The most recent outing for Donegal Junior String Orchestra was a two-day school tour last month (they’re pictured above with conductor Victor Yélamo on their first stop, Lurgybrack National School).

Treat yourself and your little ones to a free family concert from the Donegal Junior String Orchestra as part of the 5th Donegal Chamber Music Festival. Classical works and music from Disney movies, performed by the talented young musicians of the Donegal Music Education Partnership, will delight and stimulate the senses!
